C2MI

Centre de Collaboration MiQro Innovation A leading Canadian microelectronics and microsystems hub providing QuantOmics trainees with access to advanced quantum sensing fabrication infrastructure not readily available at Canadian universities. C2MI supports Stream 1 research and hosts industrial internships.


Epiloid Biotech

Mark Aquilino, CEO A biotech company specializing in organoid platforms that provides QuantOmics trainees with access to state-of-the-art organoid setups for validating quantum biosensors in physiologically relevant 3D tissue models. Epiloid CEO Mark Aquilino also serves on the QuantOmics Program Committee.


Terry Fox Research Institute (TFRI)

A premier Canadian cancer research institute that provides clinical context, access to patient-derived samples, and pathways for translating QuantOmics research outputs toward real-world oncology applications.


Ontario Genomics

A not-for-profit organization that acts as a catalyst for genomics research and its application in health, agriculture, and industry. Ontario Genomics provides strategic guidance on Canada’s genomics ecosystem and supports trainee placement and networking.


Klick Health

Yan Fossat, SVP Digital Health R&D One of the world’s largest independent health marketing and commercialization agencies, with deep expertise in digital health R&D. Klick Health provides industry mentorship, internship opportunities, and commercial translation insights for QuantOmics trainees. Yan Fossat serves on the Program Committee.


Alimentiv

Dax Torti, Senior Clinical Project Manager, Precision Medicine A leading contract research organization specializing in gastroenterology and precision medicine clinical trials. Alimentiv provides clinical research mentorship and internship opportunities aligned with Stream 2 and Stream 3 research. Dax Torti serves on the Program Committee.


Novavax

Bruce Seet, Head of Medical Affairs A global biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing recombinant nanoparticle vaccines. Novavax provides direct mentorship for trainees working on vaccine design challenges and hosts internships in vaccine development. Bruce Seet serves on the Program Committee.

  • Industry Internship Hosting — Provide 6–8 week R&D internship placements for QuantOmics MSc and PhD trainees
  • Research Collaboration — Engage directly with faculty and trainees on research challenges relevant to your organization
  • Industry Advisory Role — Serve as an industry advisor in the Mentorship Trio for one or more trainees
  • Symposium Participation — Participate in QuantOmics symposiums and job fairs as an employer and speaker
