| Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU) | Lead Institution | S3 co-lead (Khan), S1 co-lead (Valente), EDI lead (Impellizzeri) |
| McGill University | Partner | S1 (Mahshid) — microfluidics and biosensors |
| Queen’s University | Partner | S3 co-lead (Simpson) — biomedical computing |
| Université Laval | Partner | S2 co-lead (Corbeil) — medical genomics, MILA |
| University of Saskatchewan | Partner | S1 & S2 (Rayan) — quantum dots, computational biology |
| University of Toronto | Partner | S2 co-lead (Trost) — molecular genetics, SickKids |
QuantOmics is supported by a cross-sectoral network of eight partner organizations that provide experiential training, research infrastructure, internship placements, and industry mentorship:
Centre de Collaboration MiQro Innovation A leading Canadian microelectronics and microsystems hub providing QuantOmics trainees with access to advanced quantum sensing fabrication infrastructure not readily available at Canadian universities. C2MI supports Stream 1 research and hosts industrial internships.
Mark Aquilino, CEO A biotech company specializing in organoid platforms that provides QuantOmics trainees with access to state-of-the-art organoid setups for validating quantum biosensors in physiologically relevant 3D tissue models. Epiloid CEO Mark Aquilino also serves on the QuantOmics Program Committee.
A premier Canadian cancer research institute that provides clinical context, access to patient-derived samples, and pathways for translating QuantOmics research outputs toward real-world oncology applications.
A not-for-profit organization that acts as a catalyst for genomics research and its application in health, agriculture, and industry. Ontario Genomics provides strategic guidance on Canada’s genomics ecosystem and supports trainee placement and networking.
Yan Fossat, SVP Digital Health R&D One of the world’s largest independent health marketing and commercialization agencies, with deep expertise in digital health R&D. Klick Health provides industry mentorship, internship opportunities, and commercial translation insights for QuantOmics trainees. Yan Fossat serves on the Program Committee.
Dax Torti, Senior Clinical Project Manager, Precision Medicine A leading contract research organization specializing in gastroenterology and precision medicine clinical trials. Alimentiv provides clinical research mentorship and internship opportunities aligned with Stream 2 and Stream 3 research. Dax Torti serves on the Program Committee.
Bruce Seet, Head of Medical Affairs A global biotechnology company focused on developing and commercializing recombinant nanoparticle vaccines. Novavax provides direct mentorship for trainees working on vaccine design challenges and hosts internships in vaccine development. Bruce Seet serves on the Program Committee.
QuantOmics also benefits from the support of additional collaborators and partner organizations across academia, government, and the not-for-profit sector. Details on additional partnerships will be announced as the program launches.
