Virgilio Valente is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical, Computer, and Biomedical Engineering at Toronto Metropolitan University, where he leads the Wireless Sensing Lab. His research aims to develop miniaturized, energy-efficient CMOS/MEMS sensor systems for implantable and injectable wireless biosensor networks for real-time health monitoring and diagnostics. He has trained 15+ graduated HQP. Within QuantOmics, Dr. Valente co-leads Stream 1 (Quantum Probe Design and Fabrication), guiding trainees through the development of next-generation biosensing platforms, and co-leads and co-delivers Course 1.1 — Biosensor Engineering for Precision Health.
