Steven Rayan is Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Saskatchewan and Director of the Centre for Quantum Topology and Its Applications (quanTA). With over 50 trained HQP, his research explores the mathematical foundations of quantum sensing and its applications in complex systems. Within QuantOmics he provides theoretical insights into quantum sensing mechanisms, supporting the development of robust quantum biosensors as co-lead of Stream 1 (Quantum Probe Design and Fabrication). He also co-designs and delivers Course 1.2 — Quantum Nanotechnology for Life Sciences.
