Stefania Impellizzeri is Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry and Biology at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she holds the Jet Ice Research Chair in Sustainable Materials Chemistry and serves as TMU’s Dimensions Faculty of Science Lead for EDI in Research. Her research centres on the synthesis and application of nanomaterials — including quantum dots and nanoparticles — for sensing and photonic applications. Dr. Impellizzeri has trained 40+ HQP. Within QuantOmics she mentors trainees in nanomaterial-based quantum biosensor development (Stream 1), co-leads Course 1.2 — Quantum Nanotechnology for Life Sciences, and leads Course 1.5 — EDI in Precision Health.
