Brett Trost is Assistant Professor in the Department of Molecular Genetics at the University of Toronto and a Scientist at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). His research involves the development of computational tools for genomic data analysis and multi-omic integration, with a focus on identifying genetic variants associated with human diseases. He serves as Institutional Lead at UofT. Within QuantOmics, Dr. Trost co-leads Stream 2 (Genomic Signal Integration), develops pipelines to process and interpret data from quantum biosensors, and co-leads the Multimodal-Omics Data Integration Bootcamp (1.4) with Dr. Khan.
