Amber Simpson is Associate Professor in the School of Computing at Queen’s University, where she holds a Tier 2 Canada Research Chair in Biomedical Computing and Informatics. Her research focuses on developing computational models to interpret complex biomedical data, with applications in cancer research and personalized medicine. With 50+ HQP trained, she serves as Institutional Lead at Queen’s. Within QuantOmics, Dr. Simpson co-leads Stream 3 (AI-Powered Therapeutic Design), mentoring trainees in applying AI to multimodal biomedical data, and teaches in Course 1.3 — AI in Genomics.
